Tether, the issuer behind the USDT stablecoin, is taking a major step to enhance compliance in the rapidly growing market of tokenized real-world assets (RWA). The company announced a partnership between its Hadron tokenization platform and blockchain analytics firm Crystal Intelligence, aimed at providing advanced tools for monitoring, verifying, and managing tokenized assets globally.

The collaboration is designed to boost transparency, security, and regulatory compliance, which have become critical factors for institutional players entering the tokenized asset space.

According to Tether, the move is a response to emerging regulatory frameworks for tokenization and heightened investor verification requirements. By integrating Crystal Intelligence’s analytics into Hadron, institutional clients gain access to tools for AML checks, transaction monitoring, forensic analysis, and risk assessment for RWAs.

The tokenized asset market has been growing rapidly — expanding 380% over the last three years to reach around $24 billion in 2025, with forecasts predicting growth to over $30 trillion by 2034. Recent reports highlight impressive trends: Coinbase recorded a 245-fold increase in its RWA segment, while tokenized treasury securities grew 544.8% to $5.6 billion, according to CoinGecko.

Paolo Ardoino, CEO of Tether, emphasized the importance of robust and compliant infrastructure for institutional adoption:

“A secure and compliant infrastructure is essential for scaling real-world asset markets. Institutions demand systems that combine transparency, accountability, and resilience. Our partnership with Crystal helps achieve that.”

Navin Gupta, CEO of Crystal Intelligence, added that the collaboration lowers barriers for institutional adoption and establishes standards for secure tokenization:

“This partnership accelerates the responsible deployment of tokenized assets at scale and provides institutions with the tools they need to operate safely in this emerging space.”

Through the integration, Hadron positions itself as a comprehensive platform for tokenizing stocks, bonds, commodities, funds, and other assets, simplifying access to blockchain-based financial solutions for traditional markets.
