Swiss luxury watchmaker H. Moser & Cie has teamed up with anime-inspired digital brand Azuki and U.S. retailer The 1916 Company to release a limited-edition timepiece collection called “The Elements of Time.”
The collection, priced between $25,000 and $75,000, incorporates blockchain-enabled NFTs and digital twins, allowing collectors to verify ownership and provenance of each watch. This innovative approach bridges luxury horology and the digital collectibles ecosystem, offering a seamless blend of physical and virtual assets.
According to company representatives, the NFTs not only serve as proof of authenticity but also enable buyers to engage with a broader digital collector community, linking traditional luxury goods with emerging blockchain technologies.
“The integration of NFTs into our limited-edition watches represents a new era in collectibles. It ensures transparency, security, and a digital footprint for every piece,” said a spokesperson for H. Moser & Cie.
Industry experts see this collaboration as a strategic move toward merging high-end luxury markets with the crypto and NFT space, highlighting the growing role of blockchain technology in verifying and enhancing the value of collectible items.
This initiative is part of a broader trend where luxury brands leverage digital assets to reach tech-savvy collectors, combining exclusivity with cutting-edge innovation in the world of NFTs and blockchain-enabled collectibles.
