WASHINGTON, Sept. 9, 2025 – Monumental Sports & Entertainment (MSE), one of the nation’s premier integrated sports, media, and entertainment companies, today announced that Steven (Steve) Miller has been appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective October 2, 2025. Miller will also join the company’s Senior Executive Leadership Team.
Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Warby Parker (NYSE: WRBY), Miller will succeed Peter Biché, who transitioned from CFO to Senior Advisor after a distinguished 25-year tenure at MSE.

Driving Monumental’s Next Growth Phase
As CFO, Miller will oversee the company’s finance organization, including corporate real estate, controllership, financial planning and analysis, tax, and treasury functions. He will also support MSE’s corporate development efforts, reporting directly to Ted Leonsis, Founder, Chairman, Managing Partner, and CEO of MSE.
“Steve brings deep financial expertise, capital markets experience, and a proven track record in fundraising and IPO execution,” said Leonsis. “His leadership will strengthen our ability to scale across the sports, media, and entertainment landscape with financial rigor and discipline.”
From Warby Parker to Monumental Sports
Miller has served as CFO of Warby Parker since 2011, where he was instrumental in securing funding rounds and leading the company’s direct listing on the New York Stock Exchange in September 2021.
Before Warby Parker, Miller held senior leadership positions at Majestic Research (now part of Virtu Financial), where he guided the company’s successful sale, and earlier served as Vice President in Comerica Bank’s Technology and Life Sciences Division. His career began at Monitor Company as a strategy consultant and as an Urban Fellow in New York City.
“I’m honored to join Monumental at such a pivotal time for the sports and media-entertainment industry,” said Miller. “I look forward to working with Ted, Zach, and the entire leadership team to drive value for fans, employees, investors, and communities.”
Strategic Vision for the Future
Zach Leonsis, President of Media & New Enterprises at MSE, highlighted Miller’s strategic and operational expertise:
“Steve’s blend of financial acumen and consumer-focused insight will strengthen our investor relations and help guide our future ambitions as one of the world’s most valuable sports and entertainment companies.”
Miller is a board trustee of Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum, and also serves on the boards of the Ubuntu Education Fund in South Africa and Dandelion Chocolate. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Columbia University.
After October 2, 2025, Peter Biché will remain with MSE as Senior Advisor to ensure a smooth transition.
