Video platform Rumble has introduced a new feature allowing viewers to send Bitcoin tips directly to content creators. The system was developed in collaboration with Tether and was unveiled at the Plan B forum in Lugano, Switzerland.
Earlier, Tether invested $775 million in Rumble and intends to promote its stablecoin USAT through the platform. The Bitcoin tipping system is expected to go live by mid-December 2025, enabling Rumble’s 51 million monthly users to financially support creators more directly.
The new feature will be integrated into Rumble’s digital wallet, providing a seamless way to send crypto tips. Developers anticipate that this service could become one of the largest implementations of cryptocurrency payments in video streaming to date.
Rumble conducted initial tests of the feature, with the first Bitcoin transaction successfully sent to Canadian vlogger David Freheit.
The addition of crypto tipping is part of Rumble’s broader strategy to build a digital asset infrastructure for both creators and users. The company believes that integrating cryptocurrency will make reward systems more global and independent of traditional payment intermediaries.
