Australian rapper Iggy Azalea has become a strategic partner for Thrust, a newly launched celebrity meme coin platform on the Solana blockchain.
Thrust aims to “reimagine celebrity meme coins” by providing a safer and more sustainable fan-driven ecosystem. The project was unveiled during the Blockchain Futurist Conference in Miami on November 5–6, 2025.
Iggy Azalea, who has prior experience in Web3 projects including her own meme token MOTHER, will help guide Thrust’s strategic direction. According to the official announcement, MOTHER is expected to migrate to the Thrust platform by the end of 2025.
The platform has also signed content creator Rangesh Mutama (N3on) and is exploring the future launch of a token for actress Megan Fox, with further details expected later this month.
Thrust’s team emphasizes that the platform addresses systemic issues in the celebrity meme coin market. The project is designed to provide a secure and user-friendly experience, allowing fans to actively participate in their favorite celebrity communities.
“Celebrity meme coins often gained a bad reputation because they lacked legitimacy or accountability. Our ‘culture tokens’ aim to change that narrative. Every launch on Thrust is verified, contract-backed, and transparent, so both creators and fans know exactly what they are getting, rather than falling into a typical pump-and-dump scenario,” said Jake Antifaev, Thrust co-founder and CEO.
To ensure token reliability, Thrust has engaged Croke Fairchild Duarte & Beres, a legal agency, to formalize agreements with creators.
In an interview, Azalea highlighted the platform’s “fairer” presale mechanism and rewards system based on genuine contributions. She confirmed that 100% of funds raised during presales will go directly into the project’s liquidity pool.
Comparing Thrust to platforms like pump.fun, Azalea noted that the latter often benefits bots and snipers more than actual fans:
“I’m not saying pump.fun is inherently bad, but many would agree it primarily advantages bots. Thrust aims to do it differently, rewarding real participants.”
The popularity of celebrity meme coins surged in 2024, though some projects turned out to be pump-and-dump schemes, leading to losses for investors. For example, promoter Sahil Arora, behind several celebrity tokens including LILPUMP, reportedly made around $5 million through such schemes, according to Bubblemaps.
Thrust’s launch signals a new approach to celebrity meme coins, combining transparency, security, and genuine fan engagement.
