    ApeX Protocol has rolled out support for Chainlink Data Streams, adopting the high-frequency oracle solution to deliver near–real-time pricing for perpetual futures tied to tokenized real-world assets (RWA). The integration marks a major infrastructure upgrade aimed at bringing institutional-grade market data to on-chain derivatives.

    According to a release shared with Incrypted, the shift allows ApeX to replace legacy centralized price feeds with Chainlink’s premium low-latency oracle network. The system now provides sub-second pricing for RWA assets across Arbitrum, Base, BNB Chain, Ethereum, and Mantle, giving derivative traders access to execution quality comparable to that of centralized exchanges.

    Institutional-Grade Data via Chainlink Data Streams

    Chainlink’s infrastructure has already secured more than $26 trillion in on-chain transaction volume, serving major DeFi protocols such as Aave, GMX, and Lido. With Data Streams, ApeX gains the ability to publish RWA prices on-chain with the speed and reliability required for professional derivatives trading.

    The ApeX team highlighted that this integration solves a key challenge: traditional oracle frameworks typically update price data every few minutes, while Data Streams enable delivery in sub-second intervals. This reduces latency, narrows spreads, and brings execution closer to centralized standards.

    Technical Deployment Across Five Networks

    The upgraded system supplies liquidity-weighted bid-ask spreads instead of single-point reference prices, providing ApeX with deeper market granularity for risk management and execution accuracy.

    Multi-chain deployment ensures that traders can operate in their preferred ecosystem without compromising data quality, offering a consistent trading experience across all supported networks.

    Chainlink’s enterprise-ready reputation is reinforced by adoption from global institutions including Swift, Mastercard, and UBS, validating the reliability of the underlying data infrastructure.

    ApeX selected Chainlink Data Streams after evaluating multiple oracle solutions, prioritizing transparency, proven performance, high-frequency updates, and broad multi-chain availability.

    Key Benefits for ApeX Traders

    The integration introduces several major enhancements for ApeX users trading RWA perpetuals:

    • unified access to both crypto and traditional market exposure through a single decentralized venue;
    • sub-second price updates enabling tighter spreads and more accurate trade execution;
    • the same oracle system that secures billions in leading DeFi platforms now underpins ApeX’s RWA derivatives;
    • a fully transparent data pipeline, unlike hybrid solutions using centralized feeds;
    • consistently high data quality whether trading on Arbitrum, Base, or Mantle.

    ApeX Strengthens Its Position in the Mantle Ecosystem

    The rollout follows ApeX’s APE Season 1 campaign, which included $8.08M in APEX token buybacks and farming incentives. As a major player in the Mantle ecosystem, ApeX has also expanded its footprint through collaborations with projects such as UR.

    Integrating Chainlink allows the protocol to offer a complete decentralized trading stack that bridges both crypto and traditional markets, further solidifying its strategic role within Mantle.

    Implications for the DeFi Landscape

    The move represents a broader evolution in DeFi infrastructure. With oracle solutions capable of delivering institutional-quality, low-latency data, decentralized platforms can now compete directly with centralized exchanges in execution precision and product sophistication.

    As RWA price feeds increasingly migrate to decentralized oracles like Chainlink, network effects emerge that enable additional products and protocols to build on the same infrastructure.

    Positioning for the Next Era of On-Chain Markets

    ApeX’s adoption of Chainlink Data Streams marks a significant milestone for decentralized derivatives trading. By enabling sub-second price updates for RWA perpetuals, the protocol brings high-performance financial infrastructure fully on-chain—without compromising transparency or decentralization.

    With expanding momentum in the Mantle ecosystem and a growing suite of advanced trading features, ApeX is positioning itself as a leading destination for professional-grade derivatives in DeFi.

    As traditional finance continues its migration to blockchain, protocols equipped with institutional-level infrastructure are set to lead the transition. Chainlink Data Streams is not only a technical upgrade for ApeX—it’s a statement that decentralized trading has reached maturity.
