Monad Foundation has officially launched the MON token claim portal, giving eligible community members the chance to claim their tokens until November 3, 2025. The airdrop will cover approximately 230,000 addresses, focusing on real and active users of the network.

About Monad Blockchain

Monad is a Layer-1 blockchain fully compatible with Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). It boasts a high throughput of up to 10,000 TPS, making it suitable for fast, scalable decentralized applications.

Eligibility and Selection

The airdrop targets 5,500 core community participants and 225,000 active contributors involved in testing and building the project. Participants are divided into five categories:

  • High-volume traders on decentralized exchanges
  • NFT holders
  • DAO members
  • Liquidity providers
  • Active community and educational contributors

A snapshot was taken on September 30, 2025, and the selection process prioritized real users, implementing measures to minimize Sybil attacks.

On-chain criteria focused on engagement with major DeFi protocols, long-term capital commitment, high-volume trading, and ownership of notable NFT collections. Off-chain criteria included verified social identities, participation in Web3 communities, contributions to public goods, and security research involvement.

Claiming MON Tokens

Monad Foundation emphasizes the simplicity of claiming tokens:

“Once you enter your details, that’s it! Open your wallet on the mainnet launch day, and your MON tokens will appear,” said Kevin McCordick, Head of Growth at Monad Foundation.

Eligible users will also be able to check their token allocation during an event scheduled for October 28, 2025.

Market Context

The exact supply of MON tokens and the portion reserved for the airdrop remain undisclosed. According to perpetual futures trading data on Hyperliquid, the fully diluted valuation (FDV) of MON is estimated at $6.9 billion.

Previously, in April 2024, Monad Labs raised $225 million in a funding round to support the development of the network.

This launch underlines Monad’s commitment to decentralized finance (DeFi), Web3 participation, and community-first token distribution. Users interested in upcoming airdrops can also follow specialized channels, including Incrypted’s dedicated Telegram updates.
