Michael Saylor, co-founder and executive chairman of Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy), is set to make his first appearance in the Middle East at the Bitcoin MENA conference, scheduled for December 8–9, 2025, at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi. Organizers describe his participation as a landmark moment for corporate adoption of Bitcoin in the region.

Saylor is widely recognized for his strategic decision in 2020 to invest MicroStrategy’s corporate treasury in Bitcoin—a move analysts say reshaped corporate capital management. Over five years, this approach not only preserved the company’s asset value but also inspired corporations worldwide to rethink their financial strategies.

Commenting on the upcoming event, Saylor said:
“Money weakens. Assets appreciate. Bitcoin is the pinnacle of human ownership. There is no second best.”

The conference is expected to bring together industry leaders, institutional investors, policymakers, and content creators to explore Bitcoin’s role in corporate finance, energy, and digital infrastructure development. Humaid Al Daheri, CEO of ADNEC Group, emphasized that Bitcoin MENA reinforces Abu Dhabi’s status as a hub for digital asset innovation and thought leadership.

Brandon Green, chief of staff at BTC Inc, added:
“Hosting Michael at MENA this year is historic—his first appearance at a Middle East Bitcoin conference aligns one of the most influential corporate Bitcoin investors with a region rapidly emerging as a digital finance center.”

Following a successful debut in 2024, Bitcoin MENA has become a key event on the global Bitcoin calendar, attracting major speakers, industry partners like Binance and eToro, and thousands of attendees. This year, the conference promises expanded discussions on Bitcoin’s corporate utility and its integration into regional financial and technological ecosystems.

Bitcoin MENA is part of the global series organized by BTC Media, the parent company of Bitcoin Magazine. Other events in 2025 include Bitcoin Asia in Hong Kong (August) and Bitcoin Amsterdam (November), with the 2026 flagship Bitcoin conference scheduled for Las Vegas in April.
